Columbus - a small town on the Mexican border. I suddenly experienced a feeling of calm and comfort. I decide to stop and stay a few days. At last, after four months of traveling, for the first time a feeling of racial equality. People, be it black, brown or white, greet each other on the street and in the shops. This, so close to the Mexican border where ethnic problems are daily fare. I left Columbus after three days, so as not to disturb this peace, as a foreigner, for any longer.
